  1. Purpose
    At Taste-Tacular of Middle Georgia, LLC, we believe diversity fuels creativity, strengthens communities, and
    enhances our ability to serve a dynamic and inclusive marketplace. Our Supplier Diversity & Inclusion
    Program reflects our unwavering commitment to creating equitable economic opportunities for historically
    underrepresented suppliers, including those owned by minorities, women, veterans, individuals with
    disabilities, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
    This program applies to all current and future brands under the Taste-Tacular umbrella, including The
    Painted Mesa and other emerging product lines.
  2. Program Objectives
  • Promote access and inclusion by identifying, engaging, and developing relationships with diverse suppliers.
  • Support economic equity in our region by prioritizing underrepresented business owners.
  • Drive innovation and quality through sourcing partnerships with suppliers offering fresh perspectives.
  • Grow diverse spend year-over-year as a measurable, strategic priority.
  • Ensure fair and transparent supplier selection and procurement processes.
  1. Definition of Diverse Suppliers
    Diverse suppliers are U.S.-based, for-profit businesses that are at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled
    by individuals belonging to one or more of the following categories:
  • Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (MBE)
  • Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE)
  • Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (VOBE)
  • Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB)
  • LGBTQ+-Owned Businesses
  • Disability-Owned Business Enterprises (DOBE)
  • Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB)
  • HUBZone-Certified Businesses
    We encourage certifications through nationally recognized organizations, such as:
  • National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC)
  • Womens Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
  • National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC)
  • Disability:IN
  • U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
  • U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)
  1. Program Scope
    This program extends across all procurement functions and purchasing categories, including:
  • Raw ingredients & agricultural products
  • Packaging and printed materials
  • Manufacturing & logistics services
  • Marketing, design, and creative services
  • Office supplies and technology solutions
  • Facilities, uniforms, and maintenance providers
  1. Implementation & Oversight
    The Supplier Diversity & Inclusion Program is led by our Director of Operations & Procurement, who works
    with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to:
  • Proactively identify and engage diverse suppliers.
  • Maintain a vetted supplier database.
  • Ensure diverse representation in RFP and bid opportunities.
  • Set annual targets for diverse supplier engagement and spend.
  • Monitor performance and drive accountability across departments.
  1. Outreach & Engagement
    Taste-Tacular will:
  • Participate in local and regional supplier diversity events and expos.
  • Network with Georgia-based economic development and business incubators.
  • Share supplier success stories to inspire others.
  • Seek opportunities to mentor and grow new diverse suppliers.
  1. Measurement & Accountability
    Progress is tracked through:
  • Annual review of spend with certified diverse suppliers.
  • Number of new diverse vendors onboarded each year.
  • Internal performance metrics tied to diversity goals.
  • Periodic program evaluations and reporting.
